The nine restaurants included in the market test are limited to the Louisville, Kentucky, area, where customer feedback will be used to “inform future menu decisions,” CNN Business reported.

According to CNBC, customers in the test market will be able to order Krispy Kreme’s original glazed, chocolate iced with sprinkles and raspberry-filled doughnuts, either individually or in six-packs.

And while the sweet treats will be seved all day, doughnuts will not be available for deliveries, the network confirmed.

The partnership, announced Tuesday, raised a few eyebrows, considering that McDonald’s already offers its own line of McCafé pastries, meaning the rival eateries already compete for breakfast customers, CNN Business reported.

“This small-scale test will help us understand how offering new bakery items like Krispy Kreme could impact operations in our restaurants,” McDonald’s officials stated in a news release.
