When three mountain lion cubs were orphaned during California wildfires, FedEx stepped in to help get them to their new home.
The cubs had been recovering at the Oakland Zoo after being rescued from the flames.
One, nicknamed Captain Cal, had been severely burned and was found limping on a burned-out road in Redding in September, WLWT reported.
It took 47 days for him to fully heal.
The other two cubs were unnamed sisters. The sisters and Captain Cal were packaged up and sent to the Columbus Zoo, WLWT reported.
The Oakland Zoo’s employees sent them off with a message on Facebook thanking the delivery service for their help.
“When it absolutely, positively has to be there overnight, is there any other option? We are extremely grateful to FedEx for providing complimentary transport for these 3 rescued mountain lion cubs (and their caregiving humans)!”
The trio will be introduced to another mountain lion who lives at the Columbus Zoo. Jessie is 17 years old and blind, WJW reported.
As for the unnamed female mountain lions, they will get their names in a few weeks, zoo officials told WJW.
