What could be better than a day that celebrates pie – both pizza and the other kind?

But enough math, let’s talk pies. Below are some deals available Thursday on all kinds of pies -- pizza, fruit pies and pot pies.

(Note: Not every restaurant in a chain may be honoring the deals, so be sure to check with local restaurants to confirm which deals are available before you go. Most offers can’t be used with any other discount or coupons. Prices may vary with location.)

Coronavirus impact: The declaration by the World Health Organization that the coronavirus has reached pandemic proportions has caused many to reconsider their dining habits. Up to one-third of Americans say they will dine out less during the outbreak. Public health experts say it’s still safe to eat at restaurants as long as you are not in a high-risk group and you take proper precautions, such as frequent hand-washing or the use of hand sanitizer before touching food. However, this advice could change and concerned patrons should check with local public health officials or the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for the latest guidance. Google Maps has updated their app so users can check to see if their favorite restaurant has been impacted by the coronavirus.
