CLEVELAND — A couple from northeast Ohio shared their big day with people in need.
Tyler Tapajna and Melanie Vangieson were married Saturday. They took their vows in front of family and friends, but because of crowd restrictions they were unable to hold their reception, WJW reported.

Not wanting the food they had already paid for go to waste, the couple decided to donate it to the City Mission of Cleveland, a crisis center for men, women and children, the television station reported.
The bride and groom went to the crisis center moments after saying “I do” and served meals to about 140 people.
“Because we had to cancel everything, we had decided because we were donating we wanted to see the smiles on everyone’s face and hopefully everyone enjoys it,” Melanie Vangieson Tapajna told WJW. “It will put a smile on our face, underneath the mask, so that is why we wanted to be here.”
