Northrop Grumman’s cargo that was launched from Virginia’s eastern shore on Tuesday will include pizza for seven at the International Space Center, The Associated Press reported.

The company’s Cygnus cargo ship should reach the space station on Thursday, the news organization reported. It launched from Wallops Island early Tuesday.

In addition to the pizza, the company’s 16th resupply mission to the space center includes approximately 8,200 pounds of supplies, equipment and experiments, Northrop Grumman announced on its website. It is the company’s largest resupply delivery.

In addition to the pizza, the astronauts will receive fresh apples, tomatoes, kiwi and cheese smorgasbord according to the AP. Other items will include a mounting bracket for new solar wings, material simulating moon dust that will be used to create items from the spacecraft’s 3D printer, and slime mold for a French educational experiment, the news organization reported.

Tuesday’s spacecraft was named for Ellison Onizuka, the first Asian American astronaut, Northrop Grumman announced on its website. Onizuka, who became an astronaut in 1978, was one of the seven killed in the Challenger space shuttle disaster on Jan. 28, 1986.

“Aloha to the S.S. Ellison Onizuka,” Northrop Grumman said via Launch Control minutes before liftoff, according to the AP.

The spacecraft will remain attached to the ISS for about three months. It will return to Earth with approximately 8,221 pounds of disposal cargo, Northrop Grumman officials announced.

There is no word about how much the astronauts will tip for the pizza delivery.
