Kellogg’s to pay lucky winners $5K to have cereal for dinner

Cereal may be the go-to meal for when you realize you haven’t eaten dinner and it’s already 9 p.m.

Now Kellogg’s is looking for someone to make cereal their dinner routine instead of something to settle on.

The company will pay one winner $5,000 and provide a year’s supply of its brands such as Frosted Flakes, Froot Loops and Frosted Mini-Wheats if they add cereal to their weekly dinner plans, Kellogg announced.

Sadie Garcia, director of brand marketing, said in a news release that cereal is a “low-prep, low-mess and low-price meal option.”

To enter, all you have to do is post on Instagram showing how you’ve worked Kellogg’s into your dinner routine and added #KelloggsCerealForDinnerEntry.

Kellogg will pick one random winner each week. You can enter as many times as you want.

Kellogg’s is not the only company to put cash in the pockets of consumers to promote its products.
