‘Bachelorette’ contestant, Tyler Gwozdz, dead at 29

BOCA RATON, Fla. — Tyler Gwozdz, who appeared on Season 15 of “The Bachelorette,” died Wednesday in Boca Raton, Florida.

Tyler Gwozdz, a Boca Raton man who appeared briefly on Season 15 of the ABC TV show “The Bachelorette,” died Wednesday after an apparent overdose last week at a Boca Raton apartment.

Police told The Palm Beach Post it’s conducting a criminal investigation into the death. On Jan 13, police responded to a 911 call for a suspected overdose at a home in Boca Raton. Gwozdz was found unresponsive and taken to a nearby hospital. He was believed to be at the same hospital when he died nine days later.

A spokesperson for the Palm Beach Medical Examiner’s Office told People Magazine that an autopsy will take eight to 12 weeks.

Gwozdz appeared on “The Bachelorette,” in 2019 and was later removed from the show with little explanation, according to Entertainment Tonight.

Gwozdz was a psychology graduate student according to “The Bachelorette” cast profile.
