American Music Awards 2020: What time, what channel, how to watch the AMAs

The 2020 American Music Awards are set for Sunday with performances from Katy Perry, Justin Bieber, Doja Cat, The Weeknd and others highlighting the show.

Fans will also get to see Jennifer Lopez and Maluma in the world premiere performance of “Pa’ Ti” and “Lonely.”

The night could see a record for AMA wins, as Taylor Swift is up for her 30th AMA award. She holds the record of most awards for any artist since the AMA show began in 1974.

Roddy Ricch and The Weeknd were each nominated for eight awards.

This year’s show will feature new categories including new rap and hip-hop awards and Latin music awards.

Here is what you need to know about this year’s ceremony.

What time: The show is set for 8 p.m. ET on Sunday. It is being broadcast from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

What channel: ABC will be broadcasting the show. Viewers can watch ABC on television, or online at ABC.com/watch-live, where you will need a TV provider login. Or, you can watch on live TV streaming services such as Hulu with Live TV, AT&T TV Now and YouTube TV.

Who is hosting: Taraji P. Henson will host the show.

Who is performing: Here are some of the artists set to perform on the show: Bebe Rexha, Billie Eilish, Doja Cat, Dan + Shay, Lewis Capaldi, Machine Gun Kelly, Kenny G, The Weeknd, Bell Biv DeVoe and Nelly.

Also set to perform are Lil Baby, Megan Thee Stallion, Bad Bunny, Jhay Cortez and Shawn Mendes.
