“The Voice” coaches panel is going to look very different for Season 11. Friday NBC revealed pop star Miley Cyrus and R&B singer, Alicia Keys will be joining current coaches, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton, who have appeared on the show since the first season in 2011.
They will replace Pharrell Williams and Christina Aguilera.

The show has been known to switch up judges from season to season. Shakira and Gwen Stefani are among the celebrities that have rotated in and out of the judges panel.
Producers of the show reportedly believe that Cyrus, the youngest judge in "Voice" history, will appeal to demographics that they are trying to reach. Keys and Cyrus will also switch things up by upping the chances for a female coach's singer to win the show's competition. For the last 10 seasons, the show has only featured one woman per season as a coach.
On Friday night, Cyrus tweeted the good news out to her fans. “It’s true! I am going to be the newest judge on Season 11 of The Voice,” she wrote with the a photo of her onstage at “The Voice” and sticking her tongue out. Cyrus’ tweet was liked by more than 40,000 fans and retweeted more than 15,000 times.
