A huge swarm of mayflies has inundated parts of northern Ohio. The swarm was so big, it was even picked up on radar.
A Port Clinton resident snapped a few photos of cars in a parking lot covered in millions of the tiny winged insects Thursday morning.
Mayflies are a natural occurrence in the region every year, but it seems this year the swarm is bigger than ever.

There were so many of the insects, the swarm was spotted on radar systems in the region as a large green cloud moving through the area.
