The Tacoma Dome is ramping up security in the wake of terrorism and mass shootings worldwide.
The added security will go into effect at Tuesday night’s AC/DC concert.
Backpacks will not be allowed in the building and the size of handbags that can be brought in is limited.
Everyone who comes into the Tacoma Dome will also have to go through a metal detector and be subject to a search.
A Tacoma Dome spokeswoman said the security measures are similar to what's already happening at NFL games.

"We want to make sure that we are at the front of the curve, not the back, in doing the best job for our patrons," Tacoma Dome spokeswoman Kim Bedier said.
Doors will open an hour and a half before show time. Concertgoers should come early, as the extra security could slow down the process of getting inside.
