LACEY, Wash. — Fire officials in Lacey rescued a squirrel on Sunday.
The squirrel had become stuck in a fence.
A concerned citizen called it in, according to Lacey fire officials.
‘This wasn’t a “normal” rescue,’ wrote the fire department. ‘The vast majority of our patients don’t bite us when we help and usually say “thanks” before they run off.’
