FIFE, Wash. — Tacoma fire investigators say a fire that was at first considered to be suspicious was caused by a piece of faulty equipment.
It started early Wednesday morning in a multiple-car garage at the Rainier View apartments in Fife near the 6700 block of 20th Street East after a compressor caught fire.
Crews searched the building and no one was found inside.
No one was hurt.
