17-year-old girl arrested in shooting of woman in Tacoma

A 17-year-old girl was arrested by Tacoma police on Sunday after the shooting of a woman, according to the Tacoma Police Department.

At about 3:25 p.m. Sunday, Tacoma police responded to a reported shooting in the 5400 block of McDacer Avenue.

According to police, a 19-year-old woman was in critical condition after a shooting. She was taken to a hospital in a private vehicle.

Officers arrested a 17-year-old girl on charges of first-degree assault and unlawful possession of a firearm.
