Snohomish school evacuated for bomb threat

SNOHOMISH, Wash. — A threat found at a Snohomish  school caused the evacuation of students and staff Thursday afternoon.

Glacier Peak High School students and staff were evacuated from the building at 11:40 a.m. after a bomb threat was found written on a bathroom wall.
The threat, which was found by a student, said the school would explode.
Little Cedars Elementary, which is nearby, was put into lockdown.
Snohomish County deputies responded and searched the building.
Students and staff were given the OK to return to the building at 12:15 p.m.
Glacier Peak has about 1,700 students.
