SEATTLE — Officials with the Seattle Fire Department said a fire that destroyed three homes in Seattle’s Maple Leaf neighborhood has been ruled an arson.
The fire happened in the 8500 block of 8th Avenue Northeast Thursday morning.
A neighboring school was also damaged in the fire.
The Seattle Fire Department said damages were estimated at $2.5 million.
There were no injuries reported.
According to officials, the fire started in a house under construction.
Seattle police are investigating.
