Seattle residents can report needles, graffiti, broken street lights, illegal dumping or other concerns in their neighborhood by downloading the "Find it, Fix It" app for iPhone or Android.
If your issue isn't listed on the app, use the "Other inquiry" category.
If you want to talk to someone, the city's Customer Service Bureau fields customer inquires. Call 206-684-2489.
After 5 p.m., you can report needles to Seattle Public Utilities Needles Hotline at 206-684-7587 or on weekends at 206-643-3682.
Needle reporting tips
- When you open the Find It, Fix It app on your phone, press the "New Request" icon and choose the "Illegal Dumping / Needles" category.
- Please attach photos with details, such as a landmark or street sign, to help crews locate the reported item. The city works with property owners for removal of needles on private property.
- Please include as much detail as possible in the "Description" field.
