SEATTLE — The Seattle police gang unit is heading an investigation into two shootings in Seattle neighborhoods that police described as rolling gun battles.
Witnesses described seeing a dark green Chevy Tahoe chasing a light-colored SUV through the 23rd and Union neighborhood as passengers in both vehicles fired at each other about 10:30 p.m. Tuesday night.
About 20 minutes later, a home in the north Beacon Hill area was sprayed with gunfire. Witnesses there reported hearing shots and then seeing two, large, four-door vehicles speed away.
A home was hit five times and a BMW was also struck by a bullet. Police collected 15 shell casings there.
No injuries were reported in either shooting.
