Renton man doused with gas, lit on fire

Police are looking for a woman they say lit her husband on fire Wednesday in a domestic dispute.

The 52-year-old man with burns walked into a store about 8 a.m. Wednesday and asked the clerk to call medics.

Police said deputies and paramedics learned that his wife poured gasoline on the man and then lit him on fire. The man had serious but non-life-threatening burns and was taken to Harborview Medical Center.

His wife was identified Thurday as Tatanysha M Hedman. Anyone with information was asked to call 911 or 425-430-7500 and reference 14-7998.

King County Sheriff's Deputies were initially dispatched to the store, but determined that the attack happened at a nearby Renton apartment complex.
