Missing 92-year-old man found safe

A 92-year-old Puyallup man who was reported missing was found safe south of Monroe. 

PUYALLUP, Wash. — Family reported Paul Olson missing on Wednesday. He and his vehicle were last seen in the driveway of his home on 58th Avenue East at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Police say Olson generally only drives to two McDonald's restaurant locations -- one in downtown Puyallup and one near the New Tacoma Cemetery at University Place. Olson also never drives at night, according to police.Both locations were checked for Olson.

Police say the Olson had been showing early signs of dementia.
On Thursday afternoon, a Washington State Patrol trooper found Olson safe at milepost 22 on State Route 203.

His family was notified and will pick him up.
