REDMOND, Wash. — Police are looking for victims of a pair of burglars dubbed the "Movie Bandits," responsible for over 60 crimes, including break-ins of vehicles parked at theatres or shopping centers in recent months.
Redmond police, who issued a warning about vehicle break-ins and other burglaries in the city last April, said they arrested two people last month in connection with the crimes.
In a news release, Redmond police said they went to arrest a woman Aug. 1 in Bothell and saw a man fleeing. A police dog captured him.
The Movie Bandits are Joshua G. Clark, 31, and a 36-year-old woman, both from Bothell, police said.
"It is believed these two account for at least 27 residential burglaries, 4 commercial burglaries, 17 vehicle prowls, 4 attempted burglaries, 8 stolen vehicles, and 1 fraud. And those numbers continue to grow," the news release said.
