The Snohomish County Sheriff's Office Major Crimes Unit is investigating the suspicious death of a 61-year-old Sultan man.
On Tuesday, Nov.3 , a 49-year-old Spokane man was arrested on suspicion of 2nd degree murder.
Police believe an assault occurred -- after a physical confrontation between the two men.

The Sultan man's body was found in a wooded area.
A road closure on 132nd Street between Sultan Basin Road and 328th Avenue Southeast was in place for the investigation.
SULTAN, Wash. — Officials said they were investigating the cause of the suspicious death and had spent several hours processing the property and looking for witnesses.
