BAINBRIDGE ISLAND, Wash. — Police arrested a 25-year-old female teacher at Bainbridge High School for sexual misconduct with a juvenile male.
Police said a member of the Bainbridge Island School District contacted them about allegations of inappropriate contact between Jessica M. Fuchs, 25, and a juvenile male.
Authorities conducted an extensive investigation and as a result, police submitted a probable cause statement to the Kitsap County Prosecutor’s Office and a Kitsap Superior Court judge for review. After a review, the judge found probable cause for several crimes and issued an arrest warrant for Fuchs.
The district placed Fuchs on administrative leave.
Fuchs was taken to the Kitsap County Jail and is currently charged with first-degree sexual misconduct with a minor, communication with a minor for immoral purposes and tempering with a witness.
Her initial bail was set at $100,000.
