PUYALLUP, Wash. — Puyallup police say they arrested a woman on vehicular assault charges after she began chasing people with her car, hitting one of them.
The incident occurred in the 300 block of East Pioneer Street. Police say the woman deliberately aimed her car at two people -- missing them -- and then went after a third, running that person down.
Officers say the woman suffered a mental breakdown and began driving in circles chasing people.
The victim was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
The woman was taken into custody on first-degree vehicular assault charges and will eventually be booked into the Pierce County Jail.
