EDMONDS, Wash. — Edmonds police released surveillance video of a burglary suspect and his car.
It happened at Kebella’s Pizza, 630 Edmonds Way, on August 10 at 2:30 a.m.
The first video released on Wednesday shows a man breaking the lower half of a glass door and then climbing inside the pizza shop. He then removes the entire cash register and leaves the way he came in.
A second video from a different vantage point released Thursday shows the suspect’s vehicle, which appears to be a light-colored or white Toyota, pull up to the restaurant. A man gets out, breaks the glass door and then goes inside as the car is left running.
He then runs back out of the restaurant carrying the register and tries to put it in the front passenger side of the car, but the door is locked. He then runs around to the driver’s side door, gets in, throws the register onto the passenger seat, backs up and speeds away.
Anyone who recognizes the burglar or his vehicle is asked to contact Edmonds police at http://epdtips.edmondswa.gov or 425-771-0212.
