ANACORTES, Wash. — The Anacortes Police Department is asking for the public's help in finding the owner(s) of several pieces of jewelry and jewelry accessories that were found by a team of divers in Heart Lake last week.
It is unknown how long the jewelry and jewelry accessories were in the lake, but the Anacortes Police Department says "they may have been there for 5-6 years or more."
The owner(s) of the jewelry and jewelry accessories, or anyone with information about who the pieces might belong to, is asked to contact the Anacortes Police Department non-emergency line at 360-428-3211 and reference case number 18-A02824.
Heart Lake is located two miles south of Anacortes, Washington, along the west side of Heart Lake road.
