KIRKLAND, Wash. — A man smashed the front doors of the only marijuana retail store in Kirkland on Monday.
The man is seen on security camera smashing the front doors of the shop -- with a sledgehammer -- at around midnight on Monday.
A metal security door behind the initial front doors of the store, ‘Higher Leaf,’ could not be penetrated.
When the suspect couldn’t break through the metal, he fled.
Police say the attempted break-in had no impact on business at Higher Leaf.
Higher Leaf opened at their regularly scheduled time on Monday morning.
