A 20-year-old man suffered life-threatening injuries when he was struck by a freight train early Friday morning. It happened just before 4 a.m. near Richmond Beach Park in Shoreline.
SHORELINE, Wash. — An engineer spotted the man lying near the tracks after he had been struck.
The victim suffered life-threatening injuries. He was transported by airlift to Harborview Medical Center.
The circumstances surrounding the incident remain under investigation. Freight and passenger train travel in the area could be delayed Thursday morning.
