UNIVERSITY PLACE, Wash. — A 21-year-old man was killed while longboarding with his 16-year-old brother on the walking trails at Chambers Bay Golf course in University Place this weekend.
According to a police report, the victim, who was not wearing a helmet, crashed into a tree on the north switchbacks of the park’s walking trails.
The victim, identified as Tyler Dean Johnson, had injuries on his chest and face.
Johnson died on the way to the hospital.
Johnson had attended Clover Park High School in Lakewood.
