Man faces child rape charges after abducting woman outside Tacoma restaurant

Younes Kerrou faces charges he abducted and raped a woman outside a Tacoma restaurant in mid-July. Now Kerrou is also accused of child rape involving a 13-year-old girl he met online.

Kerrou, 24, remains the subject of an investigation after he was first accused of luring a woman to his car outside a restaurant, locking her in the backseat and raping her on the night of July 19.

"She was trying to get out of the car but the car had the internal child locks on, so she couldn't get out," said Tacoma police spokeswoman Officer Loretta Cool shortly after Kerrou's arrest.

It's not clear from charging information how Kerrou is alleged to have met the 13-year-old-girl.

Prosecutors say the teenager Kerrou is accused of raping is also the victim in another child rape case involving youth soccer coach Jayson Williams.

Investigators say Williams, 28, met the girl on the dating site hot or not in June of last year. Williams advertises himself online as a personal youth soccer coach and mentor.

The two cases are separate and unrelated, except they both involve the same victim identified as a teenager from DuPont.

Both men have entered pleas of not guilty to charges of child rape.
