ABERDEEN, Wash. — An Aberdeen man was jailed after he damaged a transit bus that hit and killed his dog.
Aberdeen police said the 21-year-old man became extremely upset after a Grays Harbor Transit bus accidentally struck and killed his dog in the 500 block of West Huntley Street Tuesday afternoon.
Officers said the man began hitting the side windows of the bus with his hands, shattering two of them.
It was reported that he yelled at the bus driver in a threatening manner, and the female bus driver was visibly upset when officers arrived.
The Aberdeen man was arrested on second-degree malicious mischief charges and booked into the Aberdeen jail. He was released Thursday morning.
The investigation is continuing.
