Bystanders in Magnolia tried to catch a driver who they say hit at least one person late Monday night and then fled.
A woman was badly hurt when she was hit walking along Gilman Avenue West at West Bertona Street about 11:15 p.m.
Police collected pieces of the car that were left behind after the crash in hopes they can track down the driver.
Several bystanders told KIRO 7 they ran after the car but couldn't catch it.
