A 44-year-old woman was arrested early Tuesday after allegedly stabbing her cab driver with a pair of scissors, according to police.
The incident occurred in the 1300 block of Beacon Avenue South at 12:30 a.m. An officer spotted a taxi cab with its hazard lights on and a woman chasing a man across the street.
The officer spoke to the man, who said he had just been stabbed by his passenger. He said the woman pulled out a pair of scissors and stabbed him in the shoulder after he pulled the car over to drop her off.
The man said he got out of the car just as the officer arrived on the scene. He was treated by the Seattle Fire Department and released at the scene.
The woman was arrested and booked into King County Jail for investigation of assault.
