TACOMA, Wash. — Around 10 p.m. on Friday, the Washington State Patrol answered a call of a crash on northbound I-5 in Tacoma.
WSP said the muti-car crash involved a FedEx semi-truck and happened underneath the Yakima Avenue overpass.
Troopers and @TacomaFire are on scene with a multi-vehicle collision involving a semi that is blocking all but 2 lanes of NB I5 underneath the Yakima overpass.

When the semi came to a stop all but two northbound lanes were blocked.
No serious injuries were reported.
Traffic was affected for a few hours as crews worked to clear the vehicles from the road.
WSP said that all drivers were checked for intoxication, but they were cleared and determined not to be the cause of the accident.
