SEATTLE — Thousands of people from around the world are expected to descend on Seattle this weekend for Pokémon GO Fest.
Organizers say this weekend’s event is the first in-person GO Fest since one in Chicago in 2019.
That event drew more than 60,000 people.
More than 70 Pokémon will be featured.
The event runs Friday through Sunday. Organizers said 40,000 people are expected to attend.
Tickets for this year’s festival are $25 and can be purchased online.
Those who buy a ticket will split their day between events in downtown Seattle and Seattle Center.
