All lanes of the northbound Interstate 5 mainline and collector-distributor between I-90 and Olive Way will be closed from 11:59 p.m. Wednesday night through 4 a.m. Thursday as crews re-stripe lanes, the Washington State Department of Transportation announced.
Drivers heading northbound on I-5 will be able to access downtown by exiting near the I-90 interchange, at either the Edgar Martinez Drive exit or by taking eastbound I-90 and exiting at Rainier Avenue.
Drivers continuing north of downtown will be able to use the express lanes.
WSDOT said the work is weather-dependent.
