YELM, Wash. — Firefighters in Yelm quickly extinguished a fire at Nisqually Plaza on Monday.
It happened just after 7 p.m.
SE Thurston Fire Authority crews responded to find fire burning in the ceiling area under the building’s entry overhang.
Crews kept the fire from spreading further.
Smoke seeped into several nearby businesses, and firefighters worked to check for extension in the affected areas.
No one was hurt.
No word on what started the fire.
