SHORELINE, Wash. — A man was taken to Harborview Medical Center with lower body injuries after a car jumped a curb and pinned him against the outside of a pawn shop building in Shoreline, fire officials said.
The crash happened before 10 a.m. Monday at North 170th Street and Aurora Avenue, officials said.
Officials said the victim was working on a piece of equipment when the car crashed into him and also damaged the building.
The driver was not injured.
Because of the damage that was done to the front of the building, the city of Shoreline will have to check to determine if the pawn shop can reopen, officials said.
A piece of glass also had to be removed from the building, officials said.
Police did not say if the driver was arrested.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
