The 46-year-old man was arrested and booked into the King County Jail for investigation of two counts of first-degree assault.
The last attack happened around 4:15 p.m. on Sunday, when police were called to the Capitol Hill light rail station.
Officers spoke to a 27-year-old man who was bleeding from a significant cut to his face.
The victim told them he had seen the suspect on the light rail tracks smashing a guitar and yelled at him to get off the tracks.
The suspect then confronted the victim and slashed him with a knife before running up the escalators.
Police searched the area but the suspect was not found. Officers said they will review footage from the light rail surveillance system as the investigation continues.
