RENTON, Wash. — As the Seahawks get ready to host the Kansas City Chiefs in their nationally televised preseason game on Friday, Pete Carroll said that Jimmy Graham and Luke Willson are expected to play.

Graham was held out of the preseason game against Minnesota due to back spasms, and Willson didn't play because of a minor groin injury.

Seahawks fans have enjoyed the Kasen Williams highlight show the last two preseason games. Williams, who attended Skyline High School and University of Washington, is making his case for a spot on the Seahawks 53-man roster.

"The opportunities are coming my way, and I'm taking advantage of them,” said Williams. "Russ is putting the ball in a spot where only I can get it, and I can't ask for much more than that."

Bobby Wagner said the defense is "looking pretty good" heading into the dress rehearsal game.

“You know, I think it's just a game where all the starters are going to play a little bit more,” Wagner said. “We've got an opportunity to kind of just keep, you know, putting one foot in front of the other and hit the ball rolling right at the [beginning of our] season."

And after practice, the Seahawks took a little time out for their family fun day barbecue.

"This is a cool day for the Seahawks just because the family gets to come out,” said Williams. “We get [a chance] to kick it [with everyone]. The kids get to run around a little bit, and just enjoy what we've accomplished so far."
