The NB I-5 Peace Arch Canadian border crossing was closed for an incident, traffic officials said Friday night.
The crossing connects Washington state and Canada. Traffic was rerouted. Drivers were asked to go to other entries.
Several homes were evacuated near the border crossing due to the police incident, according to a Global BC News report.
The crossing reopened by 9:40 p.m., transportation officials said.
No suspicious devices were found, according to officials.
