SEATTLE — Rescue crews are searching Lake Washington for a man who disappeared after jumping from a boat, and is now presumed drowned.
Officials responded around 11 a.m. to the 14300 block of Riviera Place NE in North Seattle for reports of a missing swimmer.
14300 Blk. of Riviera Pl. NE: crews have searched the shoreline to see if adult male had swam to shore, and did not find anyone. With an hour passing since he went under, this is now tragically a recovery mission - response turned over to @SeattlePD Harbor Patrol.

Witnesses told police that the man jumped into the water from a private boat and didn’t resurface.
Crews searched the nearby shoreline, but did not find the missing swimmer.
The search became a recovery mission and was turned over to the Seattle Police Department Harbor Patrol.
