SEATTLE — Seattle police are asking the public’s help in finding a man who they said has been assaulting women in the Maple Leaf neighborhood.

Sexual assault investigators said there are at least three incidents, starting in June, where a man would approach women from behind.

On Nov. 5, a woman was walking in the 500 block of Northeast 90th Street and was grabbed by the suspect from behind. She was able to escape and call police.

According to police, they believe the Nov. 5 incident could be related to two other cases in the area.

The victims in all three incidents described the suspect as white, 30 to 40 years old, 5 feet, 8 inches tall with a medium build, and wearing a dark jacket with a hood.

Anyone who has any information on these cases or has seen something suspicious in the Maple Leaf neighborhood is asked to call 911.
