KENT, Wash. — Kent police are searching for two people after a robbery and kidnapping at gunpoint earlier this month.

On May 3, a man was about to meet a woman through a dating website.

Police said when he arrived, the woman and three men robbed and kidnapped him at gunpoint.

He was taken to Covington and left on the side of a country road.

Investigators said the four people used the victim’s debit and credit cards to go on a shopping spree.

The woman and one of the men were identified and arrested, but two men remain unidentified.

Investigators described one man to be in his late teens to early 20s, average height and build, with short and black, curly hair. He has “Charles” or a similar phrase tattooed on his right forearm, and there are tattoos on his right hand.

The second man is described as light-skinned, in his late teens to early 20s, about 5 feet, 10 inches to 6 feet, 2 inches tall, a slender build, and black, curly hair that’s about 3 to 4 inches in length. He was wearing a black jacket, blue pajama pants with large, multicolored characters up the left leg and dark Croc-style shoes.

Police said the two men should be considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information on the incident or identities of the two men can call the Kent Police Department’s tip line at 253-856-5808 or email KPDTipline@kentwa.gov, reference case number 21-5032.
