UPDATE: Boy missing from Memphis located

UPDATE: Memphis police said on Thursday that the boy was found. No information is available on where the child was found or his condition. You can see additional updates from our sister station in Memphis.

ORIGINAL TEXT: A child in Memphis, Tenn., was taken by his father, who did not have custody of him and may be headed to Washington State, police said.

Phillip Stephen White III, who goes by Trey, 10, was taken by his biological father, 38-year-old Phillip Stephen White II.

The father could be taking the child to Washington State.
