Man shot inside Federal Way home

FEDERAL WAY, Wash. — Police say a man was shot inside a house in Federal Way early Wednesday.

It happened shortly before 4 a.m. in a home on South 296th Street near 30th Avenue South.

When officers arrived, they found a 45-year-old man who had been shot in the leg. He was taken to Harborview with non-life-threatening injuries.

With guns drawn, Federal Way officers removed everyone from the house for questioning.

As police investigated, they found that the victim may know the shooter, but what led up to the shooting is not yet known.

Police are still looking for the shooter.
