SEATTLE — Officers with the Seattle Police Department on Wednesday announced the arrest of an 18-year-old who they say is a suspect in a drive-by shooting.
On July 19, police responded to the drive-by shooting in 8800 block of Renton Avenue South, located in the Dunlap neighborhood, but said the suspect fled the scene in a vehicle.

Police said they were unable to find a victim at the scene, but said they believed a victim “may have been struck by gunfire.”
On Monday, gang detectives and South Anti-Crime Team officers said they arrested the driver of the suspect vehicle from the shooting.
Police said the 18-year-old was booked into the King County Jail and detectives are continuing to investigate the case.
