One man injured in Monday morning shooting in Ravenna neighborhood

Police are investigating after a man was shot in Seattle’s Ravenna neighborhood Monday morning.

Just before 7:30 a.m., officers were called to a shooting at an apartment in the 6000 block of Roosevelt Way Northeast.

According to police, the victim was sleeping when the shooter arrived. They got into a fight before the gunman fired one shot, hitting the victim in the ear.

The victim was taken to Harborview Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

The shooter then left the scene, possibly in a rented green Volvo SUV. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate him.
