SEATTLE — A natural gas leak in Seattle’s South Lake Union on Saturday was secured, Seattle fire officials said.
Seattle Fire Department crews responded to the leak around 10 a.m. near Republican Street and Westlake Avenue.
They asked that people avoid the area while officials investigate.
The department later tweeted that it is a confirmed gas leak, and they are working with Puget Sound Energy to secure it.
