Man suspected of killing roommate in Auburn arrested

A man suspected of killing his roommate in Auburn has been arrested.

At about 7:10 p.m. on Monday, police responded to the 29000 block of 118th Avenue Southeast after a third roommate called 911 to report the incident.

Officers performed lifesaving measures on the victim but the man died at the scene.

Police told KIRO 7 that the victim was either hit on the head with something or shot in the head. However, they are still working to determine exactly what happened.

“The thing that’s going to take the longest is we have to get a warrant since it happened inside the home,” said Auburn Police Department spokesperson, Kolby Crossley. “So we go in (to) perform lifesaving measures, the person’s dead. We have to then leave the home, and we have to wait for a warrant to go back inside. So right now we’re waiting for the warrant, as soon as we get the warrant we’ll go back in and continue our investigation.”

Officers arrested the man who they believe was responsible for killing his roommate.
